"Meet Joe Blog"

Mathew Gross, Rob Malda, and Denis Dutton edit blogs for a living. They edit amateur websites that provide news, information, and opinions to rapidly growning and devoted audiences. In 1197 was when the first website for blogging was made. People could go on there and type about anything they can thing of. Most bloggers narrow their topic only about one thing. In 1999 some compainies sold software to create your own blog. In 2002 Pyra Labs claimed to have about 970,000 users. No one really cared about the blogs until December 2002. The blogs wrote about Strom Thurmonds 100th birthday where Trent Lott made a rude statement to Strom. The blogs taked about that topic so much that a few days later it was on the news. Then about four days after that he went on tv and apologized for what he said. On April 21 a blogger named Russ Kick posted picture of bodies that the government tried to hide. HE got these picture by using an act called Freedom og Information Act. He got about four million hits a day from those pictures. These blogs can grow because the are the poeples voice and the bloggers do not have to buy to see the topics on the news or sell opther stuff. Some poeple make there blogs into books, or get movie deals. There is some blogs that give the readers opinion on books that is exciting to read and not boring.The bad thing to this is that some poeple agrue with little information is give. If a rumor is not true, they talk about it so much that others will think it is true.
